Son Goku (Born Kakarrot) is the main protagonist of the Dragon Ball franchise created by Akira Toriyama in 1984. His abilities include super strength, utilization of ki, flight, teleportation, super speed, enhanced reflexes, and Super Saiyan transformation that increase strength, speed, and durability.

Goku's real name is Kakarot and he is the son of Bardock and Gine. His brother is named Raditz. Goku was raised on Earth by his adoptive Grandfather Gohan. He killed his grandfather when he turned into ape as a child.
